I certainly
understand now
why the Chicago
Tribune
recommended John
so highly with
his Kill the
Desire program.
I found John in
2011 when I was
struggling to
quit smoking yet
again. His
website detailed
how he offered
1-on-1 personal
coaching and
support 24 x 7,
for as long as
it takes, and
continuing
support for
life. At my
first session
with John, he
outlined his
program and
approach, and it
was
fundamentally
different than
the smoking
cessation
programs I had
previously
taken. No
nicotine
inhalers or gum,
no slow ramp
down, no group
meetings.
Instead, John
got right down
to business
working with me
1-on-1 to really
show me and help
me understand
the nicotine
cycle that I was
on - and to
understand how
and why it is so
hard to stop. We
then went
through my
triggers -
stress, worry,
pressure at
work, among
others. And we
developed my
personalized
plan based on my
own insights on
why I wanted to
stop, how I
could plan to
stop, and how I
could be
confident I
would never
smoke again.
After working
with John, not
only am I smoke
free, I can
honestly say I
neither miss
smoking nor do I
even have the
desire to smoke.
I hope that
others like me
will find John's
program and try
it. Kill the
Desire has
helped me
achieve life
without
nicotine, and
without the
desire for
nicotine, and
the confidence
to know I will
never smoke
again. I cannot
thank John
enough for his
coaching and
support.

Habit … craving … dependence …
fixation … desire. If you
are a smoker, then you know
these feelings all too well. And
you are not alone. About one in
every five American adults is a
smoker. And like many of them,
you have probably tried to quit
before … only to find yourself
lighting up once again. We are
all creatures of habit. And
nicotine is addictive.
But no matter how many times you
have tried to quit smoking
before … if you are ready to
break free from cigarettes and
take back control of your life …
John Maloney can help.
Do you turn to cigarettes as a
way to relieve stress and
tension?
Many smokers feel that
cigarettes help to calm and
relax them, especially in times
of high stress. However, this is
actually a myth! The truth is
stress levels actually go
down when people stop
smoking and ex-smokers are
actually calmer overall.
How is this possible? John can
help you understand the physical
effects that nicotine has on
your body and how to overcome
the psychological triggers that
cause you to continue to smoke.
With his knowledge, education,
guidance and support, you can
finally quit smoking, once and
for all!
“Flipping the switch” is not a
one-time event.
It is a series of unique events, each
based on an individual’s
particular smoking history and
degree of motivation to be smoke-free. John will work with you
one-on-one to evaluate your
unique situation, and then
customize a plan designed
just for you. No matter
where you are in your life right
now – and no matter how many
cigarettes you smoke in a day –
if you have the desire to quit
smoking, John can help. As a
stop smoking counselor, he can
help coach you to take away your
desire to smoke naturally
– without expensive drugs,
patches, hypnosis, gum or laser
therapy.

I
finally Quit!
I was a pack a
day smoker for
many years. I
had tried many
different ways
to quit drugs,
gum, patches and
cold turkey. I
would stop and
then start again
a few weeks
later, nothing
worked for me. I
met with John
Maloney and he
set up an
individualized
plan with
quitting
strategies
designed for
just me. He took
the time to see
what triggered
my need to smoke
and gave me the
tools to get
through it. We
met regularly
one on one and
every day it
became easier to
be smoke free. I
have been smoke
free for months
now and will not
go back.

Smoke Free after
30 years
I smoked a pack
a day for over
30 years and
tried everything
to quit from
classes and
Patches to gum.
Nothing worked.
John helped me
become smoke
free without all
the stress of
quitting or
drugs. He helped
me on a
psychological
and spiritual
level. His
constant
reinforcement
made the process
simple and a lot
less painful. I
am now
completely smoke
free.
Thanks, John.

"Having smoked a quarter million
cigarettes in my lifetime, I
understand the struggle.
Don't settle for anything less than
the personal attention you deserve.
Once the DESIRE is dead, you will be
totally FREE from cigarettes and
their harmful dependency."

The Basic Truths
of Quitting |
 |
 |
|
No one can make anyone else want
to quit smoking.
When someone tells a smoker
it is time to quit, the smoker
DOUBTS the necessity; and
nothing happens.
When the smoker tells himself
or herself it is time to quit,
he or she BELIEVES that
something has to be done; and
something does happen.
No decision is needed to become
a smoker. Unfortunately,
to become an ex-smoker, the
decision to quit is an absolute necessity.
